About

The Resilience Advocacy Project (RAP) has created this blog in order to start a conversation about resilience. What it means, how is manifests itself in society and in the laws and policies that impact us, and how to understand its implications for low-income children and youth. There is a lot out there about being resilient that we don’t recognize a such everything from news, quotes, and personal experiences, to research, resources, and strategies for overcoming hardship. This is a space to share all of this, and in the process, to hopefully create a dialog that we can all learn from to help build our own resilience, and that of our nation’s most vulnerable children.
